Our Story
Aegli-Premium Organics is the 1st Greek company that specializes in organic, clean, vegan and cruelty-free cosmetics. It was founded by Dr. Errika Papavenetiou, Greek medical doctor, nutritionist, and homeopath, with the goal of empowering a community of individuals who perceive beauty holistically as a result of good health, internal balance, and connection with the environment.
The name – Aegli, [Anc.Greek: Αἴγλη], is the name of one of the four daughters mythical daughters of God Asclepius, the God of Medicine in ancient Greece. Aegli was deemed as a symbol of RADIANCE & BEAUTY, resulting from GOOD HEALTH.
Drawing inspiration from Greece΄s rich flora and the inexhaustible global biodiversity, we are constantly seeking valuable organic active ingredients worldwide to create effective cosmetic products with respect for the skin and the environment. All the organic active ingredients has clinically proven efficacy on skin and avoid, due to safety and sustainability reasons, many of the chemicals used by the cosmetic industry which have little-to-no hazard information. Certified by Cosmos Organic, vegan, cruelty free and clean ocean, compatible even to the most sensitive skin, they provide detoxification, revitalization, improvement of skin texture, firmness and smoothness for a healthy- and younger-looking skin.
Our products do not contain substances with proven or suspected association with skin allergies or impact on hormonal, reproductive, nervous, and immune systems. We completely avoid raw materials with proven harmful effects, or those with insufficient information about their impact on humans and the environment while all natural ingredients are from organic cultivation to also ensure the absence of chemical residues in final product. Finally, non-of our raw materials and final products have been tested on animals.
